the place on your body you find yourself touching.
how does your body relate to itself? how does it operate as a place, as a site for action? how does touch accumulate or deteriorate? how does touch heal, how does it hurt, and what does it hide?
email your submission(s) to info@direct-object.com with the subject line ISSUE 1 SUBMISSION. include your name, location, and two sentences about yourself.
we accept any media, but please limit submissions to one—one photo, one sentence, one hundred words of text, one piece of mail, one minute of video, etcetera. email text files as .docx, images as .jpg, and video and audio files as .mp4 and .mp3 respectively. if your submission does not fit our categories, please submit it with a short explanation. email us with questions, or reach out to us on social media.
